Upland Bird
Hunting Experiences
Our upland bird hunters have the
opportunity to choose from several different
types of bird hunting. We offer a traditional
hunt for some of the fastest flying bobwhite
quail in Texas. For the more adventuresome
hunter, we offer a exciting hunts for pheasant,
chukar and Hungarian partridge. For groups of 8
or more, Greystone Castle offers driven pheasant
shoots and flighted mallard hunts that guarantee
constant shooting action.
Dove and
Waterfowl
Strategically located in the central
flyway, Greystone's intensively managed property
attracts large numbers of mourning dove in
September/October and numerous species of ducks
during the late fall and winter. At times, up to
3,000 ducks roost on our lakes.
