European Pheasant Hunts in Texas
For groups of 10 or more, Greystone Castle offers driven pheasant hunting shoots. Following the traditional style of a European Tower Shoot, these pheasant hunts are an exhilarating experience to share with friend and colleagues. Although our European pheasant hunts are most popular on corporate hunting trips, several times a year these shoots are also offered as open hunts. Our open hunts allow individuals to join other hunters to form a larger group, giving them a chance to experience a driven pheasant hunt regardless of their inherent group size.
These hunts, along with our traditional upland bird hunts and duck hunts, are Texas bird hunting at its best!
What to Expect on Your Texas Pheasant Hunt
Our European pheasant course is made up of 10 different shooting stations in a large circular area. Each station has a blind where 1-3 hunters will stand and wait for the pheasants to come screaming past them. Hunters will continually rotate between stations throughout the day, and by the end of it you will have had the chance to experience each individual station.
Halfway through the day, we will have a "halftime" where everyone will gather under our beautiful, brand new pavilion in the middle of the woods to enjoy drinks and assorted snacks before continuing with the hunt.
Our goal with these pheasant hunts is to keep you entertained and having fun every minute of the day!
After The Hunt
At the conclusion of the pheasant shoot, we will gather up all of the birds and take a group photo for you and your friends/colleagues to remember the experience. Then, while you enjoy relaxing in our luxury hunting lodge for the rest of the day, our team will process and package all of the pheasant meat to send home with you at the end of the hunt.
Upland Pheasant Hunts in Texas
If you would rather experience pheasant hunting over dogs in a more mobile hunting setting, you might enjoy our mixed bag upland bird hunts. Although these hunts typically involve a mixture of bird species, if you area true pheasant fanatic and want to solely focus on pheasant hunting, we can arrange a custom upland pheasant hunt for you as well.
European Pheasant Hunt Packages
Our Texas European pheasant hunts include warm-up clays, transportation to/from the field, professional guides, seasoned gun dogs, bird processing, and vacuum packaging of birds. Tax, service fees, gratuity, alcohol, and ammo are not included.
